Thank you for signing up to volunteer with us.  At HFHCB, no experience is required.  The only requirements are that you be eager to learn new skills, meet new friends and have fun.  We guarantee that you will enjoy volunteering with us. 

We have plenty volunteer opportunities in a variety of different areas such as construction, the ReStore, providing lunches and snacks, fundraising, landscaping - as well as helping in the office.

  • Register as a User.
  • Click on the Sign Up Button of your Date and Time for the event your interested in.
  • Check your e-mail for a confirmation of your sign-up. 
  • A reminder e-mail will be sent a few days prior to the date you're registered for. 
  • Attend your scheduled day.
  • Make sure to cancel if you are unable to attend. 
INDIVIDUALS Between 14 and 15 years of age are allowed to be on-site when all heavy construction is completed.  These individuals can do non-construction activities, which include painting and landscaping.  Individuals in this age group are not allowed to do demolition, roofing, use power tools or work at heights above ground level.  

INDIVIDUALS BETWEEN 16 AND 18 YEARS OF AGE are welcome to volunteer. They are allowed to do general carpentry, which can include activities such as hammering, painting, etc. They are not allowed to do demolition, roofing, use power tools, or work at heights above ground level.   

We require that anyone under the age of 18 be supervised by an adult 21 years or older.  A supervision ratio of one adult to four youth is required.

Please wear closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes along with weather appropriate clothing that can get dirty and possibily be ruined. Please bring a full bottle of water, hat, gloves, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. that you would need on the work-site to be comfortable.
